School Age Child Care Assistant
Status: Part time
Wages: $15-$17 an hour
Monday through Friday, including school breaks
Responsible for assisting SACC Coordinator in planning activities for children, handling snacks, ensuring a safe environment for children. Assist children with homework, crafts and other activities.
After School Program Classroom Teacher
Location: Delavan Grider Community Center
Position Type: 40 hours per week
Wage: 20.00-25.00 per hour
Hours: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Reports to Executive Director
As an After School Program Classroom Teacher at Delavan Grider Community Center, you will play a pivotal role in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students who are often supported through DSS (Department of Social Services). We are an academic focused after school program with enrichment opportunities. In the program you will work closely with a diverse group of approximately 20 students, offering them snacks, tutoring, additional academic support, and enrichment activities.
RPF for Snow Removal
The Metro Community Development Corporation/Delavan Grider Community Center seeks qualified contractors to submit proposals for snow and ice removal outside our community center located at 877 East Delavan Avenue in Buffalo, NY on an “as needed” basis. The removal must make it possible for our members and visitors to walk on the center’s grounds safely.
