At the Delavan Grider Community Center, we offer a wide range of programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our community. From children to seniors, our programs are created to inspire personal growth, promote health and wellness, and strengthen the bonds within our neighborhood. Here's a look at the vibrant activities we offer:
Summer Camp
Dates and times: July 6- August 14, 2026 | 9am-5pm, with AM/PM care.
Cost: $700 for six weeks
AM/PM care is $45 week. 10% discount for sibling groups.

Girls Sports Foundation

Youth Monthly Feeding Program
Dates and times: Second Saturdays

Population Served: 5-19 years
Free Bottomless Bookbag Program: Monthly food program for youth of 5-19 years. A current report card is required to participate. Sign up in person and pick up food on the second Saturday of each month.
Kids Taekwondo MMA Class
Dates and times: Mondays
4:30pm -5:30pm

Population Served: 5-13 years
This class will increase motor activity, discipline, fitness, courage and confidence. A t-shirt, water bottle, sweatshirt/sweatpants and socks are required to participate.

Licensed by the City of Buffalo and the NYS Office of Child and Family Services, our after school program is also funded by families who access this service. Ground Works Buffalo offers a horticulture program and we collaborate with the UB School of Engineering for STEM enrichment programming. More information.
Senior Program
Dates and times: Monday–Thursday 10:00am - 3:00pm and the third Friday of each month 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Focused on socialization and health and wellness, our senior center brings clubs, programs and services along with case management for our seniors
